AALAM (African American Leadership Alliance Milwaukee) is a nonprofit, cross-sector network of African American leaders and allies dedicated to developing, supporting, and positioning Milwaukee’s pool of African American talent.
The goal of the Hispanic Collaborative is to move Milwaukee into a Top-10 City on the Hispanic Well-Being Index. This includes 20 variables that are compared among the top 50 metros in the nation. Metro Milwaukee currently ranks 44th. While Milwaukee has a high percentage of employment in its Latino community, there are also high levels of poverty. The Hispanic Collaborative is working to find ways to impact 15,000 households with an increase of $10,000 or more in household income via upskilling individuals into in demand jobs.
We Exist is a community designed to advance talent, reduce barriers to employment and close the wealth gap. Our goal is to make Milwaukee a region of choice for people of color to live, work and thrive.
